How pricing works for WooCommerce product bundles
The bundle price is the sum of every required component's current WooCommerce price multiplied by its fixed quantity.
Advanced Bundles Free does not add a separate bundle price. WooCommerce continues to calculate eligible discounts, tax, shipping, orders, and refunds from the component lines.

The container is zero value. Components carry the total.
The bundle container groups the purchase. It is not another paid product line.
Native component lines
Every required item keeps its own current price, quantity, tax class, shipping data, and stock behavior.
WooCommerce cart totals
WooCommerce calculates the final cart from eligible component lines using the store settings already in place.
Item-level order records
Orders preserve each purchased component and its financial values for later review or refund.
A fixed bundle uses current component prices
If the notebook costs €12 and two marker sets cost €4.50 each, the bundle shows €21. If an active WooCommerce sale changes a component's current price, the bundle total changes with it.
The plugin reads the current product or exact variation price. It does not reuse a stale parent total or create a second editable bundle price in Free.
Tax, coupons, and shipping stay with WooCommerce
Advanced Bundles Free keeps the component structure intact so the store's WooCommerce settings remain the source of truth.

Orders and refunds keep the component detail
The order stores the purchased items and values instead of rebuilding history from later product edits.
Native order lines
The bundle container keeps the group clear while component lines retain quantity, subtotal, discounts, tax, shipping context, and purchased product details.
Full or partial refunds
Use the normal WooCommerce order refund controls for affected component lines. Choose whether refunded items should be restocked.
Standard stock restoration
WooCommerce handles the restock choice through its refund workflow. Test that your process restores each affected item once.

These answers describe Advanced Bundles Free and WooCommerce component pricing.
Can I set one fixed price for the full bundle?
No. Advanced Bundles Free totals the current prices of required components. A separate fixed bundle price is not included.
Does a component sale price change the bundle total?
Yes. The calculation uses the component's current WooCommerce price, including an active sale price exposed by WooCommerce.
Can WooCommerce coupons discount a fixed bundle?
Eligible coupons can affect component lines according to the coupon type and restrictions. Test product, category, sale-item, spend, and shipping rules on staging.
Does the plugin calculate tax or shipping separately?
No. Components retain their WooCommerce tax classes and shipping data. WooCommerce applies the store's configured tax and shipping rules.
Can I refund one item from a bundle?
Component lines remain in the WooCommerce order, so the normal partial-refund workflow can target affected line values. Confirm the intended restock choice before completing the refund.
